Kontrast is an interdisciplinary audio-visual studio exploring light, sound and structure through scenography and design. We explore the dynamic interplay between two extremes, Darkness and Light. Born with an intention to provoke reflection and curiosity, we invite viewers to contemplate on this profound relationship and look beyond the obvious.
By treating technology as a creative partner and recognising space and audience as active participants, we design immersive environments where performance becomes a collective experience.
We intentionally leave room for improvisation and human response over automated technologies such as timecode, so that each performance can remain alive and unfold in the moment.

Performing under the stage name DAX, Daksh is an audio-visual artist and light designer whose practice spans sound, light, and spatial design. His journey began at the age of 16 through visual design, which later evolved into a self-taught exploration of DJing and electronic music. A long-standing curiosity with light, shaped by a strong sensibility for sound, remains central to his work. He approaches lighting as a way to sculpt atmosphere and transform space, designing environments that bring people together while encouraging moments of reflection and deep listening.
